Meet the photographer

It’s nice to meet you! I’m Amber Johnson, photographer, dog mom, animal rescuer, music lover, and someone who is always up for a challenge! My passion is taking photos that make people happy, period. Whether it’s animal photos, senior photos, engagement/weddings, or product photo shoots, my goal is to exceed your expectations every time.

I have a degree in Communications, Art, and Graphic Design – also, professional experience as a model, actress, and fashion Coordinator.  Needless to say, I’m  a great balance of fun yet professional, all the while passionate about taking great photos.

Beyond photography, I’m extremely passionate about giving back. If I’m not photographing animals for clients, I’m usually out holding a fundraiser for a rescue, or emailing/making calls to help save cats & dogs on death row.  I’m absolutely blessed with the talent to take photos, and welcome the opportunity to use that talent to give back to a world that’s been so kind to me. Some of the causes I’m passionate about and donate a large portion of my time and resources to are: MN Boxer Rescue, MN Midwest Pug rescue, Secondhand Hounds, The Humane Society of the United States, ASCPCA, WSPA, Best Friends, & Farm Sanctuary. Know that a percentage of the proceeds from the work I do with you is going to a great cause! Yes, EVERY session I donate! (If there is a charity you prefer, just let me know I am more than happy to make the donation where you wish it to go!)
